CNT declares strike at Silica emeritense

To avoid more layoffs, to be paid wages and degrading treatment against

Section CNT union in the company Meridan SILICA, TECHNOLOGY AND SERVICES, dedicated to the management of computer systems and Free software has been called the strike action to continue to avoid the dismantling of the current workforce and to demand payment of wages earned.

According to the CNT, all attempts to try to solve the problems have been unsuccessful because the company has always refused to deal both with the local union as the union directly. This irresponsible attitude by the management of the company, says CNT, has not left the workers no choice but to take decisive action.

The CNT announced that the strike will begin next May 23 and will last week, stopping and starting on 27 again on June 6. CNT

says not understand the position of the firm since pending the completion of several projects and, therefore, their payment, nor with the policy of dismissals and harassment of workers as it is running out and replacing qualified staff them by "fellows", of which there is no doubt of its ability but do not have the proven experience of staff. In this sense, CNT remember, that there are 6 workers laid off (4 of CNT) and that 2 people have left the company voluntarily because of health and working conditions are impossible.

Finally, CNT calls on the responsibility of the Administrations Public when they hire with companies like SILICA, TECHNOLOGY AND SERVICE to monitor and control public money delivered either through work or service contracts, either by helping job creation is actually used as specified and no elsewhere.

CNT - Signed
